It is an alternative procedure that arises to help those people who have not received the issuance of the Certificate of Sephardic origin because of the saturation that has been lately the Israelite Community of Lisbon.

Through this procedure we will accredit your Sephardic origin before the Portuguese authorities, linking your genealogical line to a root from which other applicants have already been issued this Certificate.

It is an evidentiary genealogical report that proves that, if a blood relative obtained the CIL Certificate, since you are under the same genealogical line from the same tree, you are also a descendant of a Sephardic Jew recognized by this organization, even if they have not yet issued your certificate.
